This is beautiful.
I LOVE to sit for hours and just play, hit the record button on my garageband and fiddle around with new melodies. Sometimes phrases come to mind through the music, and I find a song.  Often, just the melodies play, no need for words.
Since my transfer to the School of Psychology from the School of Music, I have become extremely lackadaisical in my piano playing. I think it was blacklash from spending too much time in the practice rooms practicing songs I wasn’t passionate about.  I know there is value in theory and becoming technically proficient, but music is more than that to me.  (which is what prompted my exodus from the music major.)  So, this summer it is my goal to learn at least 5 complete songs, to practice regularly, and to ignite my passion for the piano again.
